Shipping and returns
PRODUCT SHIPPING AND DEADLINES
Products purchased by users through online stores can be picked up in-store or shipped via courier, always to the address provided by the user. Each order must be accompanied by the corresponding sales receipt. The seller will not be liable for delays or non-delivery of products caused by errors made by the user when providing the shipping address or if the address is incomplete. The delivery time for each product will be as indicated at the time of purchase.
Products will be delivered according to the preferred delivery time established by the user. Therefore, if the user is absent from home at the time of delivery, they must contact the courier company to arrange for pickup at the courier center or a new delivery date and time. The seller will not be liable for delays due to the user's absence at the time of delivery. To avoid such issues, users are advised to provide a delivery address and a delivery preference (morning or afternoon) where they will be available to receive the order.
When delivery is made to the store's physical establishment, the order must be ready for pickup within a maximum of 24 hours from the receipt of the order request for shopping, food, and fresh items. For all other items, the general rule is a maximum of 3 business days from receipt of the order request. The buyer must pick up their order within a maximum of 7 business days, except for fresh and/or perishable items.
When delivery is made via shipping, the store will arrange for shipping so that the delivery is completed within a maximum of 8 hours, counting from the pickup by the logistics provider, for shopping, food, and fresh items within the town of Puente Genil. For special logistics and other destinations, the maximum delivery time for purchases will be 8 business days from receipt of the order request.
For the purposes of calculating delivery times, business days are defined as days excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays in Spain, as well as local holidays in Puente Genil.
Orders can be delivered at any time between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).
For security reasons, sellers will not ship orders to PO boxes, nor will orders be accepted if the recipient and their address cannot be identified.
Responsibility for the items will be transferred to the user at the time of delivery.
When the user receives the item purchased from an online store, they must verify that it corresponds to the item ordered, that it is in perfect condition, and that it has not been damaged during shipping.
If the product received does not correspond to the one ordered, the user must report it using the means indicated in section 10.2 of the general conditions. The product received in error will be withdrawn, and the product actually ordered will be sent to the user, all at no cost to the user.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS, AND EXCHANGES
Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal from a contract is the right of every consumer and user to terminate the contract by notifying the other party within the established period for exercising this right, without needing to justify their decision and without penalty of any kind. In short, it is the possibility of returning the order without needing to justify the decision.
The user will have a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the order to exercise the right of withdrawal, i.e., to return the purchased product. For this purpose, the date of delivery of the product will be considered the start date of this period.
In accordance with the applicable legislation regarding Consumers and Users, the right of withdrawal will not apply in the following cases:
- The supply of goods made according to the specifications of the consumer and user or clearly personalized.
- The supply of goods that may deteriorate or expire quickly.
- The supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and that have been unsealed after delivery.
- The supply of goods which, after delivery and taking into account their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other goods.
- The supply of sealed sound or video recordings or sealed computer programs that have been unsealed by the consumer and user after delivery.
RETURNS PROCEDURE
The return process will begin when the buyer completes the online return form. Once submitted, it will be sent to the management company of puentegenil.market, and a copy will also be sent to the retailer.
Returns for Purchases Picked Up In-Store
Orders collected in-store must be returned via the same method. The maximum return period for these products is 5 business days from the date the buyer communicates their decision to withdraw.
Returns for Home Delivery Purchases
The buyer can choose to return the product via the same method, i.e., pickup at the same delivery address, or via in-store delivery.
Returns made via courier incur a shipping charge of €3. This amount will be deducted from the refund issued by each merchant from whom a return is requested.
Once the product is returned, the merchant will examine it, and if it does not present any defects caused by the buyer, the order status will be updated within their private area. The merchant will automatically notify the puentegenil.market management company that the return has been accepted, and the buyer will be refunded the amount paid.
Defective Products
If:
(i) The returned product shows any damage or deterioration attributable to the purchaser as a result of handling other than that necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, or operation; or
(ii) The product is returned incomplete, the purchaser will be responsible for the decrease in the product's value, which, depending on the case, could make it impossible to refund the amount paid. In such cases, the purchaser will be notified by email, and the item will be available for collection or return postage due, at the purchaser's discretion, within a maximum period of 15 calendar days.
In any case, the store will not assume any responsibility for the safekeeping or storage of the item while it is in the purchaser's possession. In the case of defective products, if the product does not comply with the contract or presents defects or flaws, the buyer may choose to demand repair or replacement of the product, unless one of these options is objectively impossible or disproportionate. Both the repair and replacement of the product will be free of charge for the buyer, including shipping costs and, where applicable, the costs related to labor and materials required for this purpose.
If any product does not comply with the contract and/or presents any defects or flaws, the buyer may notify the relevant retailer as soon as possible.
In response to this communication, an email will be sent to the buyer to resolve the issue, inviting them to return the item in the manner established in the GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE / TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
Once the return is received by the store, the returned item will be carefully examined, and the buyer will be notified by email, within a maximum of 10 business days, whether it can be repaired or replaced (as requested). If so, this must be done as soon as possible.
In cases where repair or replacement is not possible, the buyer will have the right, at their discretion, to terminate the contract or request a price reduction.
